Born 1931. PhD in Economics at University of Budapest 1958; Researcher Read Paper Group 1962; Specialized in marketing and market research in London 1960-1962; Founder of Middle East Marketing Research Bureau 1962; Established the Middle East Center for Management Studies and the Center for Computing Studies in 1984; Active engagement in promotion of civic and socioeconomic issues; Founded Institute of Directors (Cyprus Board), also Honorary Secretary; President of Cyprus 1988 - 1993; Former Vice President of Nicosia Chamber of Commerce; Former member of the Executive Committee, Cyprus Chamber of Commerce; Member of the Board and Executive Committee of the Bank of Cyprus; Leader of the Three Democrats Movement·1993-; Member of the Advisory Committee of the Center for European Policy Research in Brussels; Visiting Professor of the Canfield School of Management in the U.K.; Chairman of MEMRB International, a market research, marketing and economic consultancy organization.
