A book somewhat similar to the former but in this instance is concerned only with the Scottish contribution to the United States of America beginning with Tam Blake of the title who was in Arizona in 1540. It is not as well organised as the book referred to above and one gets the impression that the author began to write without an overall plan simply adding, to what he had begun, as and when information was obtained. This is not a real criticism but it does make the book a little difficult to use for reference. It is a book that is easy to pick up and find something of interest. It contains a map and chronology of the main events in America's history that is useful. There are no specific references to Freemasonry but many of those detailed therein were Freemasons.
